Host Responsibility
Last updated: July 2026
PrimeWharf is a hospitality and entertainment complex in Queenstown, New Zealand. We are committed to the wellbeing of our guests and to providing a safe, welcoming environment. Our on-site casino is offered as part of the resort experience, and we take our host responsibility seriously.
Adults only — R20
Access to our casino is available on-site exclusively to guests aged 20 years and over. We may ask any guest for valid identification, and entry will be refused where age cannot be confirmed.
Play responsibly
Gaming should always be a form of entertainment, never a way to make money or to deal with stress. We encourage guests to set their own limits, take regular breaks, and only spend what they are comfortable with. Our team is trained to offer support and, where appropriate, to suggest a break.
Signs that gaming may be a problem
- Spending more time or money than intended;
- Trying to win back losses;
- Feeling anxious, guilty or irritable about gaming;
- Gaming to escape worries or low mood;
- Gaming affecting relationships, work or finances.
Self-exclusion and support
If you would like to limit or exclude yourself from our casino, please speak with our duty manager, who can arrange this confidentially and provide information on further support. We respect and support every guest who chooses to take a break.
